
Seniors in Chilliwack are often cut off from family and friends. They eat alone. Watch TV alone. And find that safety is an issue. Auburn was designed to provide supported living for seniors, with elegant suites, three meals a day, 24-hour security and in-suite housekeeping. The price was a fraction of other retirement homes. The problem, however, was how to reach them.
Immersion Creative created several integrated campaigns to reach specific elderly audiences in places they could receive the message. We placed a full page print ads in the local papers, sent out direct mail, optimized the site for online search and advertised on Global, JoyTV, Shaw and KVOS on programs such as Gunsmoke and Bonanza.
The direct mail with the headline: "Your Golden Years Have a Silver Lining" proved to be very successful, selling 20 units in only a few weeks.
