
Plumbing and heating emergencies often rely on reactive advertising. You don't usually think about your pipes or furnace, but if something goes wrong, you call the biggest ad in the Yellow Pages, the first page of Google, or whatever company is top of mind. Campbell Care wanted a visible presence in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland to be familiar and immediately recognizable when it's time to call a specialist.
For their winter campaign, we focused on the concept of "cold." No one calls a furnace repair company until they realize how frigid their house is without heat. We used an exaggerated, humourous approach to show just how miserable things can get if your furnace is not winter-ready. We integrated this idea across print, transit, radio, television and social media.
Campbell Care established an undeniable visual presence that was measured online. Hits to the website went up, Twitter followers surpassed 1000, and Facebook friends and fans climbed to the hundreds.
We put Campbell Care on the first page for Delta plumbing, Delta heating repair, Vancouver air conditioner repair, and soon we'll have Vancouver plumbers, Vancouver heating, and more.
